This suggests that drinking coffee in the morning may help reduce the risk of death and prolong life.
Explaining the reason for this result, the researchers said that drinking coffee in the afternoon or evening may disrupt circadian rhythms and hormone levels (such as melatonin). This leads to an increase in risk factors for cardiovascular disease such as inflammation and blood pressure.
However, these experts also said that more research is needed to further explore the effects of coffee on health and confirm these results in diverse populations. Moderate and timely coffee consumption may be just one part of a strategy to maintain health and prolong life.
